I am a MASc candidate in CSAI at the University of Guelph advised by Dr. Graham Taylor where I am a member of the Machine Learning Research Group and the Vector Institute. My current research interests include deep learning, natural language processing, and genomics.


  • September 1st, 2020: Joined the Machine Learning Research Group at the University of Guelph and the Vector Institute as a MASc student, supervised by Dr. Graham Taylor.
  • May 1st, 2020: Started working at Stanford University on the Metalab. 
  • April 28th, 2020: Selected as a recipient for the Vector Scholarship in Artificial Intelligence 2020-21!
  • April 27th, 2020: Started working at the Levine Lab at the University of Toronto.
  • February 4th, 2020: Marked one year living in Tokyo, Japan! 🇯🇵  
  • August 14th, 2019: Started working with Dr Sho Tsuji at IRCN, the University of Tokyo
  • November 6th, 2018: Started working at the Hensch Lab between Harvard University and IRCN
  • November 5th, 2018: Graduated from the University of Toronto with Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Biology.🎓 
  • May 13th, 2018: Started my research project with Dr. Andreas Hilfinger at the University of Toronto. 
  • July 8th, 2018: Went to my first conference, SMBE , and presented my undergraduate thesis project, awarded best undergraduate poster.
  • April 22nd, 2017: Started doing research at the Ness Lab at the University of Toronto.
